Residential Rodent Control in Bainbridge
Most of our Bainbridge work is residential. The housing stock splits into two groups: older homes near the center of town with stone foundations, full basements and original plumbing chases, and newer subdivisions with attached garages and slab construction. Both get mice and rats, just through different entry points. Families call us about scratching in the walls, droppings in the kitchen, and pets staring at appliances. Landlords call about turnover units. We handle all of it with the same approach: inspect, seal, trap, verify.
Mice in the kitchen are the most common call we get in Bainbridge. We find the plumbing and electrical penetrations behind the cabinets, seal them with copper mesh and exclusion sealant, then set snap traps and glue boards along the counter runways. Most kitchens clear within three to five days.
We inspect Bainbridge attics and crawl spaces with flashlights and inspection mirrors, checking insulation, rim joists, roof returns and chimney chases. You get photos of every entry point we find, whether or not you hire us for the repair work. The inspection takes 45 to 90 minutes.
Older Bainbridge homes leak at the fieldstone foundation and sill plate. We tuck copper mesh and steel wool into the mortar gaps, then seal over them with exclusion sealant. Where the stone is loose, we tell you masonry repair is needed before the seal will hold long term.
Newer Bainbridge subdivisions leak at the garage-to-house door and the dryer vent. We seal both with hardware cloth and exclusion sealant, and we check the garage threshold and any utility penetrations. This is a three to five hour job on a typical home.
